Ezekiel 21:8-10

8 Again the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 9 “Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘Thus says [a]the Lord.’ Say,

‘(A)A sword, a sword sharpened
And also polished!
10 Sharpened to make a (B)slaughter,
Polished [b]to flash like lightning!’

Or shall we [c]rejoice in the [d]scepter of My son? The sword (C)despises every tree.
